[17/6/16 – 24/6/16]
A volunteer research expedition with Operation Wallacea to do habitat assessments in Balule Nature Reserve. Not included in the video, are the times we went down and dirty to measure bush sizes, stood silent for 10min at different points to count birds and the intense amount of eye-power that was used for game transects.
One of the most eye-opening experiences I’ve ever had; to live in the bush, be like a bushmen, using my primary senses of sight and sound, and just bonding with nature. Thank you South Africa, Opwall, and the amazing rangers for giving us a great time!
