What better way to start this series than discovering an awe-inspiring cenote in Yucatan. Called Cuzama Cenotes, it is one of the many sacred cenotes — huge natural sinkholes filled with ground water — near Merida, but the most exhillerating in our opinion. After being lead by horses on the back of a cart through the jungle, the basecampers get to do some water diving in a massive cenote and soak up the sacred cenote’s energy. Of all the things to do in Quintana Roo, visiting at least one of the Cenotes de Mexico should definitely top your list. Watch the video for more info on this cool activity in the Yucatan peninsula.
