Yucatan, Mayan Riviera, from Cancun to Tulum, is packed with cenotes. This Yucatan peninsula, underneath the rock, is full of air and water pockets. When the land gives way, it exposes this water, known as cenotes pronounced “seh-no-tays”

There are a lot in the area like cenote ik kil, dos ojos cenote, gran cenote, but this one has to be my favourite of all the Cancun cenotes down to the Tulum cenotes. This is called Garden of Eden “Spanish: Jardin del Eden” Big, open, clear, clean, with some safe cliffs to jump from. Check this out! Easy to get to as well unlike Ik Kil and Gran Cenote.

I’m coming down to the Grand Bahia resorts in March. Is this cenote south of that area? Could I take the collectivo to it?

if you really liked….. go back and ask for the 7 aunderground caves you can do some real good apneas……. start at the south side of that cenote and you will find one cave , you have to go down at least 20 feet and cross another 30 feet and you gonna get out in another cenote, and if you keep it, you will find another 6 diferents cenotes….. if you are a real good swimer , you have to do it…. tell me if you tried…… i did it with 2 friends
