We Found an Amusement Park on Top of a Mall in Mexico City!

Chapultepec Park is twice as big as Central Park in NYC, so we had to go check it out. But first we had to try these churros from El Moro which has been open since 1935. Those churros were so fresh and huge and cheap!

Next we made our way to Chapultepec Park, walked around and saw the vendors, lots of food, but we went to the Anthropology Museum since it was free on Sunday morning. We went through half of the museum and were tired so we went to get some lunch.

We were tired after eating and didn’t feel like exploring the park anymore, so we took the metro to the amusement park on top of a mall that we saw on the way to Mixquic.

It was only 20 pesos ($1.00) to get in, but we had to buy a card to add money to for the rides for 30 pesos ($1.50). Took a while to figure out how much to add to the card for our two rides, but once we got it loaded, it was time for the big tall swing ride. This ride was pretty scary, at any moment we though we may get launched off the roof into the parking lot, pretty crazy.

The roller coaster was next, this was a descent roller coaster, nothing compared to what I recently went on at Knott’s Berry Farm, but for a couple dollars, it was pretty good.

That was it, we just wandered around the mall a little bit, then made our way back to our hotels. What a fun day!
